Malcolm Love is a producer, presenter and public communication skills coach who specialises in public engagement of science. He runs workshops in the UK and internationally, training scientists and engineers to better engage via the media and public presentations.  Malcolm conducts media interviews and chairs events.

Dr Richard Roche is Associate Professor at the Department of Psychology, Maynooth University. His areas of interest are cognitive neuroscience/neuropsychology, particularly memory, ageing, dementia, stroke, brain injury and synaesthesia. He has served as President of Neuroscience Ireland and was Founding President of the Irish Brain Council. He is strongly committed to science outreach and public engagement, and regularly organises public engagement events.

Assoc. prof. Dubravka Svob Strac, PhD, works as a Senior Research Associate in the Laboratory for Molecular Neuropsychiatry, Department of Molecular Medicine, Rudjer Boskovic Institute, Zagreb, Croatia. In addition to scientific work (72 papers, 19 book chapters, 1182 citations; h-index 19), she teaches at the Universities of Zagreb, Rijeka and Osijek, Croatia. For science popularization, she received special awards from Rudjer Boskovic Institute in 2017 and 2018, and Croatian National Award for 2018.

Paula Clifford serves as executive director for Americans for Medical Progress (AMP), a non-profit organization based in the United States that offers innovative programs to inform and educate the public about biomedical research and specifically, the important role of animals in advancing medicine and science

Nicolas Petersen is an Associate Professor at the University of Copenhagen (Denmark) and is the Managing Director of the Danish Neuroscience Society. He has extensive experience in public engagement and science communication.

Geert Ramakers is an Associate Professor at UMC Utrecht, the Netherlands, where he coordinates both a Master and PhD programmes. His research interests focus on cellular and synaptic plasticity. In addition, he is a member of the Expert Group Education in Life Sciences, chair of the Educational Committee of the bachelor program Biomedical Sciences, former Teaching Fellow (2014 – 2016) and board member of the Teaching Academy of Utrecht University.

Dr Emma Yhnell works as a Lecturer at Cardiff University, teaching the next generation of budding scientists.
In addition to her research and teaching, Emma is experienced in public engagement, outreach and science communication. She is a regular media commentator and alongside writing award winning science communication articles and she was an invited contributor to the DK Book ‘How the Brain Works’.
