History of Neuroscience

FENS, through the History Committee, promotes activities linked to the history of neuroscience.
The aim is to commemorate European neuroscience for future generations by making available to the wider public autobiographies, videos, pictures and other electronic materials about illustrious neuroscientists in Europe and their distinguished work.

Global Brain Museum Project

Led by IBRO, the Global Brain Museum (GBM) is an online database to list, promote and protect archives of brain sciences globally.

History Online Projects

A virtual platform making hosting autobiographies, videos, pictures and other electronic materials about illustrious neuroscientists of Europe and their distinguished work.

The History Corner

An exhibition of posters on the History of European Neuroscience, held during major FENS meetings.

European History of Neuroscience Seminars

Local spreading of knowledge on the history of neuroscience organised in collaboration with neuroscience institutes.
