The European Neuroscience Conference by Doctoral Students (ENCODS) is an initiative started by graduate students at the Neurocampus Bordeaux in 2013, to offer early-career neuroscientists a context for scientific exchange that suits their needs better than a large-scale event.
European Neuroscience Conference by Doctoral Students (ENCODS)
ENCODS for and by early-career neuroscientists
The ENCODS programme encompasses plenary talks from both eminent and rising scientists, who will stay for the full length of the conference to offer ample possibility for interaction. ENCODS offers students the opportunity to give talks and be involved with the conference, making ENCODS a great way for early-career scientists to interact with each other in a different setting.
Students are offered training to improve skills that are critical during and after their PhD. ENCODS serves as the optimal platform for students to receive feedback, develop their skills and initiate new collaborations across borders.
ENCODS is now organised yearly by a different group of internationally located PhD students and welcomes European PhD students working in all fields of neuroscience.
