Wiley, EJN publisher, signs transitional deal to accelerate open access publishing in Switerland

Wiley, publisher of the European Journal of Neuroscience, announced a new open access agreement with swiss universities to provide unlimited read access and to accelerate open access publishing among over 40 Swiss higher education and research institutions across Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
The read-and-publish agreement allows members and customers of the Consortium of Swiss Academic Libraries (CSAL) access to Wiley’s subscription journals and grants researchers at participating Swiss institutions the ability to publish accepted articles open access in Wiley’s nearly 1,400 hybrid journals, which span more than 200 subjects. The structure of this agreement will increase the open access output in Switzerland, adding thousands of articles published by swiss universities researchers open access to the scholarly record.
