The first FENS Featured Regional Meeting will be held in Poland

FENS launched a new concept to promote regional neuroscience meetings of the FENS member societies, the FENS Featured Regional Meetings (FFRM). The purpose of this support is to increase the visibility of one regional meeting and to support neuroscience in this country. With this initiative FENS supports countries which lack a large conference centre and can not host the main FENS Forum that is held every two years.

There have been several high quality proposals out of which an ad hoc committee and the FENS Council made the selection.
We are happy to announce that the first meeting will take place in Warsaw, 2009.
