The FENS-KAVLI Network of Excellence supports the DORA Declaration

The San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA) has been initiated by the American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) together with a group of editors and publishers of scholarly journals.

The FENS-KAVLI Network of Excellence welcomes, supports and signed the San Francisco Declaration in Research Assessment (DORA) whose aim is to improve the ways in which the output of scientific research is evaluated by funding agencies, academic institutions, and other parties.

We encourage all organisations and individuals who are concerned about the weight of Journal Impact Factors in scientific decision-making to join this initiative.
