FENS congratulates Prof. Monica Di Luca on her title of “Doctor Honoris Causa” awarded by the University of Mons, recognising her contribution to European brain research and advocacy.

Prof. Monica Di Luca, President of FENS from 2014 – 2016, works on the brain and its capability to modulate synaptic activity in the context of brain diseases, such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.

The ceremony took place last Friday, 31 March 2017, at the University of Mons, hosted by Mr. Calogero Conti, Rector of the University.
