Prof. Juan Lerma candidate for the position of Councillor of SfN

Former FENS Secretary General, Prof. Juan Lerma, Instituto de Neurociencias CSIC-UMH, Spain, is a candidate for the position of councillor of the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) in elections closing on 19 June 2020.

Prof. Lerma has always been very active in the scientific community, both at local and international levels. His wide-ranging background, including as editor of society journals, and his strong sense of commitment were key in developing FENS activities and strategic mission during his term.

Prof. Carmen Sandi, FENS current president, welcomed his candidature, “Prof. Lerma can only be commended for his involvement and dedication to international neuroscience. I encourage everyone to support his candidacy.”

European and global SfN members will cast their votes by 19 June 2020.
