Neuro opinion: reforming the academic system is a joint responsibility: Marian Joƫls, Monica Di Luca and Barry J. Everitt, past president, current president and president-elect respectively, are the authors of this interesting article about neuroscience research and scientific publications published on the European Journal of Neuroscience on the 24th of April.

In this article the three FENS officers discuss about neuroscience research and the academic system, highlighting that over 15% of all scientific papers published worldwide are related to the brain or behaviour. The paper tackles sensitive issues related to neuroscience and the academic system.
