New FENS Officers

During the FENS Forum 2012 in Barcelona new FENS officers took over their reins of office.

The new FENS President  Marian Joëls (Netherlands) took over the reins of office for the period 2012 – 2014 at the FENS Forum in Barcelona. The previous President, Sten Grillner (Sweden), has correspondingly stepped down but will continue to serve FENS for a further period of two years as Past President.

Monica Di Luca is the new FENS President-elect. She will serve as President-elect for a period of two years and will then become President for the period 2014 – 2016.

Marianne Amalric (France) was appointed as FENS Secretary General-elect. She will serve as FENS Secretary General-elect for two years and will then take office as FENS Secretary General as the successor to Sigismund Huck (Austria), the FENS Secretary General as of 2012.

The chair of the Schools Committee,  Michael Novak (Slovakia), also handed over his tasks to Martine Ammassari-Teule (Italy).

The chair of the NENS Committee, Jean-Pierre Hornung (Switzerland), handed over his tasks to Ferdinando Rossi (Italy).

The chair of the Communication Committee, Jacques Epelbaum (France), handed over his tasks to  Kyriaki (Kiki) Thermos (Greece).

Marina Bentivoglio is the new chair of the Local Organising Committee responsible for the FENS Forum that will be held in Milan in 2014.

Silvia Arber (Switzerland) was elected chair of the Program Committee and will take over her tasks from Ole Kiehn (Sweden) after the Governing Council Meeting in November 2012.

Vincent Prévot (France) was appointed as FENS Treasurer-Elect. He will serve as FENS Treasurer-Elect from 2013 to 2015 and will then take the office as FENS Treasurer for the next two years (2015-2017).
