Launch of the EBC Consensus Statement on European Brain Research

The statement presents proposals for future research programmes and describes the needs and achievements of research in Europe. It calls on the European Commission to take more action, given the societal emergency in Europe caused by brain disorders.
FENS president Monica Di Luca stresses the importance of establishing clear research priorities: “This consensus document represents the effort of different organisations which believe that brain research deserves higher priority on the EU agenda; it will provide policy makers with the tools to understand brain research’s key needs.”
