Kavli Prize ? Call for nominations

The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters calls for nominations of candidates for the Kavli Prize 2010.

The prize will be awarded for outstanding achievement in advancing knowledge and understanding in the fields of astrophysics, nanoscience and neuroscience. Each Kavli Prize consists of USD 1,000,000, a scroll and a gold medal for each scientific field.

The closing date for nominating candidates is December 15, 2009.

The winners of the Kavli Price 2010 will be announced in June 2010 and the award ceremony will take place in Oslo, Norway in September 2010.
