FENS President Monica Di Luca warmly congratulates The Brain Prize winners, Timothy Bliss, Graham Collingridge and Richard Morris for their groundbreaking research on the cellular and molecular basis of a brain mechanism known as long-term potentiation (LTP) and the demonstration that this form of synaptic plasticity underpins spatial memory and learning.
“At FENS, we are proud of having on board such top-level scientists, like Richard Morris, who was FENS president from 2006 to 2008, Graham Collingridge, who was a member of the Programme Committee for the FENS Forum 2006 in Vienna and Timothy Bliss who was member of the Programme Committee for the first FENS Forum 1998 in Berlin.”
