FENS President at the ERA-NET Neuron meeting

FENS President, Monica Di Luca, participated to the kick off meeting of ERA-NET Neuron which took place this 12 January in Berlin.

At the meeting, priorities on brain research have been discussed with European policy makers and stakeholders. Monica Di Luca strongly made the point of the importance of supporting fundamental brain research through her presentation, which listed the priority of brain research from the neuroscientists’ point of view.

ERA-NET Neuron is network of European Funding for Neuroscience Research, which supports basic, clinical and translational research in the diverse fields of disease-related neuroscience.

The meeting gathered leading European neurologists, psychiatrists and neuroscientists to discuss how to reinforce the interactions between scientists, clinicians and the society.
