As the news about the COVID-19 outbreak continues to evolve, FENS is actively investigating solutions to proceed in the most responsible way. Please read this message from the FENS President.

As the news about the COVID-19 outbreak continues to evolve, FENS would like to share with you the following update, which can also be found on the FENS Forum website.

“The COVID-19 situation represents an unprecedented global health crisis that requires special measures. It is becoming increasingly clear that the ongoing pandemic will continue to impact society at large and the possibility for scientists to meet at international meetings such as the FENS Forum in the coming months.

FENS leadership is actively investigating solutions to proceed in the most responsible way, including moving the Forum to a later date. We would like to reassure our already 5,000+ registered delegates, exhibitors and partners that we are mindful of our duties as the organiser of a large international scientific meeting and that we will keep everyone updated about decisions taken by FENS for the Forum 2020.

We appreciate that this uncertain situation impacts on our community and we thank you for your loyalty and patience while we finalise our response accordingly.

We hope you are all keeping safe in these challenging times.

Best wishes,

Carmen Sandi,
FENS President”
