EBC launches 1st European Brain Policy Forum (EBPF)

The European Brain Council launches a series of Annual Multidisciplinary Forums designed to involve all those with a stake in brain research in the building of a European research strategy towards tackling the major brain diseases.

Each multidisciplinary forum will focus on one major disease and in particular, neglected areas of that disease. The first forum will be devoted to Parkinson’s disease and the European society, and the goal in each case will be to raise awareness of the research and resource requirements for making further progress in understanding that disease. The Forum will take place on February, 27-28, 2008.
