5th international Art of Neuroscience: competition now open

Art of Neuroscience comprises a yearly competition and seminar, which acts to stimulate the dialogue between neuroscientists, artists and the creative sector with as common goal to explore their role in shaping and improving the human experience.

The 5th annual Art of Neuroscience competition is now accepting submissions from neuroscientists worldwide. Neuroscientists are invited to submit spectacular images and/or movies depicting your work, or a neuroscientific concept and which illustrate the beauty of the brain. Two prices will be awarded each in the amount of 500€: one in the category best image, and one in the category best movie.

In order to compete, participants need to register at the Art of Neuroscience website. Winners will be announced during the annual Art of Neuroscience symposium, which will be held at the Eye film institute in Amsterdam on 24 March 2015. The deadline for submissions is 25 February 2015.
