The NEURON School (www.neuronschool.org) is a non-profit initiative organised by the Department of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Sassari (Italy) in collaboration with Sardegna Ricerche, with the aim of providing students with a solid introduction to neuronal modeling by teaching ideas, methods and integrated practices of computational neuroscience, through a combination of theoretical lessons and practical experiences with simulators.
Thanks to the support of Sardegna Ricerche, the school offers at a very modest cost both a panel of teachers who include leading scientists in computational neuroscience, and a good logistic support for students.
