GeNeDis is a World Congress on “Genetics, Geriatrics and Neurodegenerative Diseases Research” that takes place every two years. GeNeDis 2022 will take place between 20/10/2022 and 23/10/2022 at Zakynthos, Greece.

The conference is organised by the Laboratory of Bioinformatics and Human Electrophysiology (BiHELab) of the Department of Informatics of the Ionian University. Over 50 keynote speakers from pristine institutes such as the Johns Hopkins University, Karolinska Institute’s Nobel Institute for Neurophysiology, National Institute on Aging (NIA/NIH), EMBL Heidelberg and Columbia University are uniquely placed in the scientific program to share their work and discuss the newest findings in the field of neuroscience.

The conference theme is “Health Aging and Mental Wellness in the New Digital Era”. GeNeDis 2022 focuses on a strong scientific program combined with teaching, training and live workshops and features an internationally recognized widely diverse program. Topics of interest include: Clinical genetics and genomics, System Biology, Genome engineering, Computational biology, big data and genome medicine, Diagnostic of human disease biomarkers, Gene expression analysis, Neuropharmacology, Pharmacogenomics, Diagnostic protocols and tests, Nanotechnology, Quality of life and healthcare, Geriatrics, Neurodegenerative Diseases, Neuroimaging and Clinical neurophysiology.

The conference proceedings will be published by Springer in the well-known Series: Advances in Experimental Medicine and Biology (AEMB), I.F.: 2.622.
