In the era of social media we want to highlight the work of the medical artist Sarai Llamas (http://saraillamas.com/fwp_portfolio/medical-art/). She has found her inspiration fighting herself against a brain tumour. Her work is at the same time faithful to the anatomy, incredibly creative and optimistic. We will offer an exhibition at Ateneu de Sant Cugat, a very active civic center in a small city close to Barcelona. Our aim is to help in the sensitization of brain diseases and their research but at the same time it will have a direct impact in the patients’ community.
We have last years’ experience and the exhibition was a success.
