Lab description

Dr Hickey's research interests lie in the development of therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases and in the greater understanding of symptoms and pathology of neurodegenerative diseases using translationally relevant in vitro and in vivo models. In current research, Dr Hickey's lab is are examining peripheral neuropathy in PD and nanoparticle delivery of therapeutics to brain for Alzheimer's disease.
