Lab description

NeuroSignal intends to unravel the neuroimmune and inflammatory mechanisms behind neurodevelopmental disabilities, neuron-glial unit deterioration and neurodegeneration. Microfluidic devices, human stem cell and animal models are used to identify early biomarkers for brain disorders and test novel therapeutic agents and exosome-miRNAs for neuroregeneration. Our goal is to identify disease-specific drivers and develop patient-tailored therapies.
