The candidate will use different approaches to characterize the immune (central and peripheral) response to alpha-synuclein induced neurodegeneration in a rodent model, with a special focus on the gut-brain axis. The studies will be complementary to the human studies performed in parallel by other members of the team. Close interaction and constant scientific exchange will be essential for the advance of the project.
