In collaboration with the Deutsches Zentrum für Neurodegenerative Erkrankungen (DZNE e. V.) and the Department of Aging of the Individual and the Society (AGIS) of the Interdisciplinary Faculty of the University of Rostock, the University Medical Center Rostock is researching, among other things, the effects of demographic change and the improvement of care, diagnostics and therapy of dementia diseases.

To strengthen our team in the EU-funded project CombiDiag – Peripheral Biomarker Based Combinatorial Early Diagnostics for Dementia (Horizon-MSCA-2021-DN-01), we are looking for an immediate part-time position (20 hrs/week), initially limited until 31.01.2027 and remunerated according to the TV-L, as

Your tasks:

  • Handling of network activities in close alignment with EU regulations
  • Ensuring timely reporting and continuous maintenance of the EU project portal
  • Coordination of contents and deadlines between the international network partners
  • Supporting the recruitment and training plans of young scientists
  • Organization and scheduling of network meetings
  • Supporting the responsible principal investigator in external communication of the network, communication towards EU representatives as well as internal communication within the network.

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed education in the field of medicine, health care, natural sciences, social sciences or comparable (bachelor’s degree) or completed commercial or administrative training
  • Knowledge in administrative project management
  • Possibly professional experience in the coordination of third-party funded projects, reporting
  • Interest in scientific topics
  • (Very) good command of written and spoken English
  • Reliable oral and written expression skills
  • Experience in dealing with EU projects is an advantage
  • Proof of immunity against COVID-19 according to § 20a para. 3 IfSG
