Applications are invited to join a dynamic research group led by Dr Ivana Barbaric to work on a
Muscular Dystrophy UK-funded project. In this exciting project, the focus will be on utilising our
stem cell-based model of Charcot Marie Tooth type 2A disease to search for therapeutic targets.
Applicants must have recently completed or hold a PhD in the areas of stem cell or neurobiology.
Experience with human pluripotent stem cells and motor neuron differentiation is desirable. You
must be self-motivated, well-organised, highly independent, and willing to work with other
members of the existing research team. Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills
are also essential.
