Research Associate – Computational Modelling of Brain Networks

Position: Post-doctoral Position

Deadline: 25 October 2022

Employment Start Date: 1 November 2022

City: London

Country: United Kingdom

Institution: Imperial College London

Department:

Description:

We are seeking a Research Associate in computational neuroscience to study the response of brain networks to perturbation in healthy and diseased conditions. This is an excellent opportunity for computational modelling of brain networks as part of a dynamic and interdisciplinary team of researchers in neuroscience.

The post holder will develop state of the art computational models that can accompany and guide experimental understanding of neural circuits. The models are used, in close collaboration with experimental labs, to explore and quantify the high-dimensional properties of neural activity and their transformations in brain disorders.

The post is funded by the Wellcome Trust and is based in the Computational Lab of Neural Dynamics at the Department of Brain Sciences in Imperial College London.

For further information regarding the role, please contact Dr Sadra Sadeh at s.sadeh@imperial.ac.uk.

This can be a hybrid of 3 days on site and 2 working remotely. Candidates who have not yet been officially awarded their PhD will be appointed as a Research Assistant. For further details, see:
