Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive team player ideally with experience in neuronal culture (rat/mouse/human) and/or cloning/gene editing. Experience in electrophysiology or animal experimentation would be a plus. Candidates possessing a BSc, MSc, Technician’s Diploma, or similar qualification are encouraged to apply. The position provides the possibility for career advancement and further training. Salary commensurate with experience qualification (according to the French public service pay scales). Applications are open until the position is filled. The position starts as early as possible. Salary is funded for 2 1/2 to 3 years.
The team is interested in the function of neocortical circuits and their pathophysiological modification in autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
We are part of an INSERM (French NIH) research institute, and a member of the Bordeaux Neurocampus — a center of excellence for neuroscience research in Europe. The day-to-day language of the team is English, but French speaking skills could be an advantage.
