We are seeking an excellent PhD student / post doc to work on a pioneering study amid to describe the biophysical and molecular mechanisms underlying epigenetic inheritance of superb learning capabilities. These positions are offered in the frame of a funded collaboration between Prof. Jackie Schiller’s lab at the Technion and Prof. Edi Barkai’s lab ate the University of Haifa. Both labs are located in Haifa, Israel. The project will combine working on state-of-the-art single cell neurophysiology and imagining with a behavioral study. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in cellular neurophysiology, but enthusiasm, critical thinking and high motivation are more important. The PhD student position is offered for four years and the post doc position for two years.
