The Max Planck Institute for Metabolism Research in Cologne, Germany, invites applications for Postdoctoral Positions in the Research Group Synaptic Transmission in Energy Homeostasis of Dr. Henning Fenselau (http://www.sf.mpg.de/research/fenselau).
The group uses cell type-specific neuro-technology for mapping, manipulating, and monitoring the regulatory neuronal circuits of energy and glucose homeostasis. Applicants should be highly motivated, ambitious, and talented scientists who wish to be part of an international, enthusiastic and collaborative team in an outstanding scientific environment. Applicants should have a PhD in life science with experience in brain slice electrophysiology, neurocircuitry mapping, mouse genetics, or metabolism research. The working language is English; knowledge of the German language is not required.
