Postdoctoral Research Associate in Sensory Neuroscience

The Quinlan Lab ( is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral research associate to investigate the physiological and molecular mechanisms mediating the loss of synaptic plasticity in the rodent visual cortex with age, and recovery by visual deprivation (e.g. Murase et al. ELife, 2019, 2017).

The successful candidates will have a Ph.D. or equivalent in neuroscience, physiology, or a related field, experience with ensemble neuronal recording methods (ephys or Ca2+ imaging) and strong quantitative skills including proficiency in MATLAB scientific computing software.
